Noticeboard

It is with regret that we are informing you that Dr Mercer has decided to resign as a Partner and from Lawn Medical Centre from Easter of this year. We would like to reassure you that you will continue to receive the highest quality of care from our Doctors and Nurses and we hope to have another GP in place by April. We are sure you will want to join us in thanking Dr Mercer for his many years of service, and wish him all the best for the future as he takes time to pursue his other interests

GP Net Earnings

All GP practices are required to declare the mean net earnings (eg. Average Pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice. This is required in the interests of the greater public accountability recognising GP pay is ultimately funded from tax paid by the public.

The average pay for GPs working in Lawn Medical Centre in the last financial year was £49,946 before tax & national insurance. This is for 1 full-time GP, 3 part-time GPs & 2 locum GPs (who worked in the practice for more than six months).
